M.O.M.S. Limo Night! April 24, 1999

We were dressed up and feeling good! Our limo drivers agreed that we were the most pleasant and fun group that they had ever had! Why? Because we were appreciative. Most of these ladies had never ridden in a limo. So to get dressed up, have dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and then dance the night away at Buffalo Joe's in San Diego's Gaslamp District was a fabulous opportunity.

The ladies begin to board their carriages for the evening. Hey! There's Becky and Tina!

Park 'n' Ride, had never looked like this before! The first of several single moms wait to be assigned to their limos. Each car had a name. There was the Time Out Limo, The We Deserve A Break Limo, The Tired Limo, The Wanna Have Fun Limo and many more.

It's not often that our Managing Photo Editor, Lezlie, allows us to capture her on film. But we did just that here at Planet Hollywood!

We stopped in at Planet Hollywood to say Hi! They had invited us to come back for a dinner at their place. "Lezlie! Get Off The BAR!!!! He said, `belly up to the bar,' not get on the bar!

Sixty single moms are a whole lot of fun! That's how many of us went on Limo Night! Here are a few of you at the beginning of the night at The Hard Rock Cafe, La Jolla.

Everyone here at Buffalo Joe's knew us by our green wrist bands. Single moms were told that there were four Mystery Men among the hundreds of people here. The idea was to dance with as many men you could, and after dancing with them, ask the guy if he was a Mystery Man. If he was, you would win a gift!

Any Mystery Men here?

Michelle Vasile had passed Mystery Man, Ross Climo, several times before finally asking him to dance. Michelle screamed when she asked if he was a Mystery Man, and he answered "yes!
