HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?


We love this question! There are plenty of We Need Help categories to choose from. M.O.M.S. will benefit you most when you become "involved" and part of the team. Here are a few examples of what you can "do" to help. And if you have additional ideas ... PLEASE let us know. We are all in this together!

  • Research (Surf The Web and or Make Phone Calls)

  • Bake (For Fundraisers or to say Thanks to Sponsors)

  • Host a House Party (Other Members Bring Goodies)

  • Plan Events (Movies, Shopping, Sporting, Camping, etc.)

  • Distribute Literature, Posters and Business Cards (Helps your Chapter grow) (Get your own M.O.M.S. Business Cards for only $26! Your Name, Telephone Number, E-mail Address and Title will be printed on our beautiful 2 color cards)

  • Organize Youth/Kids Activities

  • Be A Hospitality Mom (Greet New Members in your area)

  • Publish a one page newsletter for your area

  • Be a Guest Speaker in your area for local organizations, companies and high schools (Speakers generate public awareness and contributions).

  • Become a Chat Host (Contact M.O.M.S Chat Coordinator with your choice of topic, time & date).

  • Be a Chapter Leader (Hard work...but very rewarding)

  • Become involved with other Community Organizations as a M.O.M.S. Member and increase awareness of our organization and what we offer to single parents.

  • VIP Discount Coordinator (Ask local retail and service business to give recognition to the struggles single income families face by offering a discount to VIP Card holders.

  • Be the Baby-Sitter Club Coordinator in your area (Update Directory)

  • Ways & Means Coordinator (Collect food and clothing for single parent families who are experiencing extreme financial hardship. Also gain support of local individuals for Christmas Gift Collection program.

  • Sign On as State Representative for your state. (Your signature will adorn all documents specifically related to your state of residence).

    Buddy-Up with another single custodial parent and be as well as have an instant support system.
